Questions

Before you buy

Is it safe to write all this down?

The binder asks where things are kept, never for passwords, PINs or full account numbers. Keep it somewhere secure and tell someone you trust where it is.

Is it a will?

No. It is a personal record that helps your family and executor find everything. You still need a will, and a power of attorney is worth considering too.

Does it work in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the workbook to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets, or open it in Excel or Numbers. The renewals tab counts down to each date.

How often should I update it?

Once a year, and after any big change: a move, a new account or policy, a marriage, a divorce or a new child.

Which countries does it cover?

The United Kingdom (A4) and the United States (US Letter). Each uses its own terms for accounts, pensions, retirement plans and documents.
