What’s inside

Time limits, support and meetings, side by side

Key dates and time limits

Each step from request to final plan, review and appeal, with a workbook that counts down the days left.

Provision tracker

Note each week whether the support in the plan actually happened. Specific records are far more useful at a review than a general feeling.

Reviews and meetings

A one-page profile, review preparation pages, meeting notes and a correspondence log, so nothing said is lost.

Printed pages from the SEND binder: review meeting preparation and one-page profile

Questions

Before you buy

We already have a plan. Is this still useful?

Yes. Most of the work happens after a plan is issued: checking the support is delivered, preparing for each annual review and keeping a record of every conversation with school and the council.

Does it work in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the workbook to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets, or open it in Excel or Numbers. The days left on each key date update automatically.

Can I use it for more than one child?

Yes, within your own family. Print a separate set of the child pages for each child.

Which places does it cover?

England (EHCP), Wales (ALN and IDPs), Scotland (additional support needs and CSPs) and the United States (IEP and Section 504). Each edition uses its own system’s steps and terms and was checked against official guidance.

Is it legal advice?

No. It helps you organise reports, letters, dates and meetings. It doesn’t tell you what to ask for or what your child is entitled to. For free, impartial advice, contact your local information, advice and support service or, in the US, your state Parent Center.
